The final version of my Christmas present for my wonderful friend Mai994. I used this as an art project for my school. I wrote the entire thing myself, and originally intended for the two lines of red on the bottom to be lit up with a bar of sunlight. I took a picture at the perfect moment, and posted it a while ago. As I was about to print it for my art class, I realized that a lot of the red words were washed out. So I had to retake the picture. Unfortunately, it was night, and obviously dark. So there was no natural sunlight, or light at all for that matter. I turned off all the lights in the house, and set my sketchbook (with the written words) on the sofa. I took a flashlight and shone it maybe ten centimeters below the image. I must have held it just right, because the light hit the rings of my sketchbook binding and cast a rainbow over the word "lost." After a bit of photo editting (which I am highly unskilled at, mind you) to remove the binding and some of the sofa, you see the final image. I added a black border around the edge to simulate the black matte that I made for the actual photograph.
Merry Christmas, Mai! I hope you enjoy it!
