The thing I value above all else is this lake, or rather the fact that I have the opportunity to live beside it. I never take it for granted. Sunrises like this one simply magnify the beauty of the lake...

The second thing I value most is music. One of the most important elements of any music is dynamic contrast. The change in volume. The musical term for "get louder" is a crescendo. It is marked on a sheet of music by an elongated symbol like this: "<" Doesn't the pattern of light in this picture look just like it? And it follows the idea behind the crescendo as well; the light increases from left to right, changing the dynamic of the photograph with it.

There could be no better entry that I could submit to this contest; this image is a summary of who I am as a person.

Love the magnificent wide-screen view of the entire lake... No wonder you feel so blessed to live there! =)

Just purely fantastic. I wonder, does it often serve for inspiration when you're thinking about what to do next? Say you just walk out to the lake and think to yourself for a while?

Undeniably gorgeous shot... I can see why it's so special to you. Keep up the wonderful photography! :clap:
