Literature Text

There once was a boy who traveled through time.
It brought him before Clock Tower in chime.
A mischievous Skull Kid caused quite a fuss.
Righting his wrongs, the boy thought, was a must.

Skull Kid caused the moon to fall out of the sky.
The destruction of Termina seemed to be nigh.
Before it came down, he had just three days.
This courageous boy, that did not phase.

For he had the power to go back through time,
And again stand before Clock Tower in chime.
He learned of four giants the people did trust.
To find these great deities was a definite must.

To each of four temples one had gone forth.
One in each region: south, west, east, and north.
They had been trapped by monsters most foul.
Defeating these monsters, the boy freed them all.

The boy traveled back to Clock Tower again.
He looked up at the moon, and that is when
He called the giants with a song in their name.
From swamp, mountain, ocean, and canyon they came.

The four giants looked at the moon not so high.
They lifted their arms and held it up in the sky.
The deities who protected that land for so long
Had saved it again because of the young boy's song.
This is a poem that I wrote for class a couple of years ago. It's based off the game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
